The Misouri AIDS Consumer Awareness Coalition (MACAC) is a collaborative network of individuals, community-based organizations, and government representatives, organized to empower people affected by HIV to act on their own behalf in matters of health care and to reduce the risk of harm caused by both the lack of adequate and accurate information or by misinformation.

MACAC works in partnership with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to expose questionable and dangerous HIV treatments that can cause harm to Missourians with HIV.
