What to Watch Out For:

Claims that a product cures AIDS may be false
Some products use personal success stories to promote sales. Personal success stories are note proof that product or treatment works.
Be suspicious of claims that a treatment can "prevent" or "cure" AIDS.
You Should Question any Treatment That...
is promoted as "miraculous", "fool proof", "secret" or "suppressed.
claims to have been discovered by a "foreign doctor" and/or is advertised as "tested in another country".
is sold to "cure or prevent" other illnesses associated with HIV/AIDS.
is an experimental drug treatment that you must pay for.

Look Before You Leap

No matter what answers you receive, do not feel pressured to make an immediate decision. Take time to think and to get more information from an HIV/AIDS agency, AIDS hotline and your AIDS-knowledgeable physician.

Legitimate health care providers will not object to your search for additional information.
