We are a task force of representatives from local community AIDS education and service organizations, Texas state and local health departments, professional health organizations, law enforcement (regulatory) agencies, and persons living with HIV/AIDS.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Texas AIDS Health Fraud Information Network is to educate the consumer on HIV/AIDS treatment fraud issues and concerns, especially as it relates to potentially dangerous or fraudulent therapies. TAHFIN also refers individuals who believe they have been defrauded to the appropriate regulatory agency.

TAHFIN respects the right of individuals to pursue alternative forms of treatment in addition to traditional therapies. TAHFIN encourages each individual to make the most educated and informed decisions possible.

The Texas AIDS Health Fraud Information Network has members throughout the state of Texas.
